Since our inception, we have advised on over 170 transactions for an aggregate value of $110 billion, with sizes ranging from over $40 billion to those of approximately $75 million. More than 40% of our transactions have occurred between $100 million and $1 billion in value.
Our approach is to marry the execution capabilities of our M&A team with the industry focused bankers, to provide holistic advice both strategically and tactically. Within our core sectors, we excel at highly structured and complex transactions, as well as running meticulously orchestrated auctions. We have broad experience with public and private companies, sponsor-backed firms, Special Committee assignments (such as go-private transactions), and we are evenly split between buy-side and sell-side assignments. We offer acquisition finance services that help our clients raise debt capital objectively, without being burdened with the conflicts inherent from a lending practice. We also are able to access the firm’s public capital markets expertise to provide thoughtful views on how the market will react to certain transactions, structures and valuation, and help craft the message to public investors to help ensure that an acquisition is well received. This is a service our boutique competitors cannot offer.
