Ross McMaster is a Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales - Canada at Thomas Weisel Partners, covering performance based Canadian long only and hedge funds. He came to Thomas Weisel Partners in January 2008 as part of the Westwind Partners acquisition, after joining the firm in 2004. Ross is based in Toronto. He has over 10 years of experience in Investment Banking and Public Financings. Prior to joining the firm, Ross was Head of Institutional Sales at Yorkton / Orion Securities where he helped manage and build one of Canada’s most successful independent firms. Ross received a B.Comm degree with honors from Queen's University - School of Business and an MBA from the University of Toronto - School of Business. He also holds CA and CMA designations.
