Kenneth L. Murphy is a Managing Director and Head of Boston Institutional Sales. He joined Thomas Weisel Partners in 2008, and is based in Boston. Before joining the firm, he was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies where he worked 9 years in Boston Institutional Sales and 3 years in Syndicate/Equity Capital Markets. Prior to that, he was Director of Marketing at CommScan where he designed and sold software that is used by a majority of Wall Street firms. Kenneth earned a BS degree in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
