Matt Sheerin follows the Electronic Supply Chain at Thomas Weisel Partners. His coverage universe includes Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS); component and connector makers and distributors; and IT products distributors and resellers. Prior to joining the firm in June 2000, Matt was Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Buyers’ News (EBN), the premier weekly newspaper in the electronics industry, where he oversaw coverage of semiconductors, distribution, outsourcing, and supply chain management. He is a recognized authority on the Electronics Supply Chain, and he has been a featured speaker at several industry conferences. Matt also has held financial reporting and editing positions at several daily newspapers, including Investor's Business Daily. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Thiel College and a Master of Journalism degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
