Heidi Poon joined Thomas Weisel Partners in August of 2007 from Piper Jaffray where she was an analyst on the semiconductor team for 2 1/2 years. Prior to that, Heidi worked at Robertson Stephens and Prudential Securities covering semiconductor equipment and semiconductors, respectively. Heidi is a CFA charterholder, and her academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Heidi's coverage focuses on multimedia semiconductors, and she has prior experience covering the semiconductor industry in China.
