Ben Mogil is an analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners, covering broadcasters, publishers, exhibitors and film distributors. He came to Thomas Weisel Partners in January 2008 as part of the Westwind Partners acquisition, after joining that firm in 2003. Ben is based in Toronto. As an analyst, he has been ranked by StarMine for his stock-picking skills and by Brendan Woods for client service, and has developed relationships with some of the leading North American institutional investors. From 1995 to 2000, Ben was in charge of corporate development/M&A for a film distributor and an Internet company, both based in New York. Ben received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto (Honours With Distinction: History and Economics, 1995) and his MBA from the University of Michigan (With Distinction, 2002).
