Simon Tonkin follows the Base Metals industry at Thomas Weisel Partners. He came to Thomas Weisel Partners in January 2008 as part of the Westwind Partners acquisition, after joining the firm in 2006. Simon is based in Toronto. Previously, he was a Resources Analyst at Hartleys Ltd., Australia, from 2003 through 2006. He was a Resources Associate at Hartleys from 1999 through 2002. Simon received a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia, Perth, and a B. Ed. Degree from Edith Cowan University, Perth.
