Kurt Molnar is a Research Analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners, covering Canadian oil and gas production companies. He came to Thomas Weisel Partners in January 2008 as part of the Westwind Partners acquisition, after joining the firm in November 2007. Kurt is based in Calgary and has over 17 years of diversified financial experience covering the Canadian oil and gas industry. Kurt has a broad range of experience in the financial services industry in this regard that has covered institutional sales, research, investment banking and corporate banking. Kurt was also was a founder, and spent two years as a senior financial executive, in a successful Canadian private exploration company. Kurt received a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance Major) from the University of Calgary.
