Rob Magwood is a Vice President of Internet, Media & Telecom and Real Estate Investment Banking at Thomas Weisel Partners. He came to Thomas Weisel Partners in January 2008 as part of the Westwind Partners acquisition, where he served as Vice President, after joining the firm in 2003. Rob is based in Toronto. His prior experience includes working as an analyst at Yorkton Securities (Macquarie Capital Markets Canada) and as a Financial Economist at the Federal Department of Finance, Canada. Rob holds a BAH in Economics from Queen’s University, an MA in Economics from York University, and a MSc. in Finance from London Business School.
