Brian Sapp is a Director of Communications Equipment, Storage & Computing Investment Banking at Thomas Weisel Partners. Brian joined the firm in 2008 and is based in San Francisco. He has over 9 years of experience in technology investment banking and three years of experience in industry. Before joining the firm, he was a Principal in SVB Alliant’s Hardware M&A group. Previously, Brian was a Senior Vice President in the Semiconductor and Communications group at Pacific Growth Equities and a Vice President in the Electronic Technologies group at CIBC World Markets. Prior to investment banking, he was an engineer at Tyco Electronics. Brian received a BS degree from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA degree from Cornell University.
