Paul Newman is a Managing Director of Metals & Mining Investment Banking focused on the Natural Resources sector at Thomas Weisel Partners. He came to Thomas Weisel Partners in January 2008 as part of the Westwind Partners acquisition, after joining the firm in 2005. Paul is based in London. His prior experience includes more than 22 years in Investment Banking. Before joining Thomas Weisel Partners, he was a Director at ING and Charterhouse Securities Limited. Paul received BSc. and MSc. degrees from Auckland University, New Zealand, and a D.Phil. degree from Oxford University.
