Jason Moran is a Managing Director in Healthcare Investment Banking at Thomas Weisel Partners. Jason joined the firm in 2008 and is based in San Francisco. He focuses on the biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical and molecular diagnostics subsectors. He has over 12 years of Healthcare Investment Banking experience and has been involved with over 100 financing and M&A transactions in the sector. Prior to joining the firm, Jason was a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray & Co. He began his investment banking career at Banc of America Securities where he served as a Financial Analyst and, subsequently, as an Associate. Jason received a B.A. in Biology from Yale University.
